Female Entrepreneurs Living as Expats, Digital Nomads, and Travelers

Even in bad times, we should find time to celebrate. So let’s celebrate Female Entrepreneurs, Female Founders, Female Travel Influencers and Female Solo Entrepreneurs Globally. We should Especially celebrate Female Entrepreneurs Living as Expats, Digital Nomads, and Travelers.

Now more than ever, Female owned businesses are important and in many households around the world, they are the glue holding families together. On my last trip abroad a few months ago, I had a chance to meet with many Female Entrepreneurs from Australia, Shanghai, Senegal, Bali, and Sweden. No matter where in the world they were from or operated their business, I listened as they recounted their stories of how they got started, their common challenges in raising capital, finding enough time for marketing and branding, and having a personal life in between.

At the end of my trip, I realized that at the end of the day no matter where you are in the world, we all have more in common than we know. Here are a few Female Owned Businesses, I always have my eye on:

  1. Lalu Raw Beauty is a natural skincare line launched in Shanghai by Adja Ljung.  I found the products to be healing and moisturizing as well as smelling amazing! as I used them consistently to soothe my skin that took a beating as I flew through multiple time zones and cities during a 6 week global business trip.
  2. Taking a long break between business trips in Indonesia, I got to know Perth Stylist Bridget Hudson of Rein – and instantly fell in love with the beautiful flow and style of her collections.
  3. Whenever I’m in Shanghai, I always leave with lovely gifts from my friends. One of my Besties, Viviane always gives me lovely jewelry. I had no idea it was from her Etsy shop –  Iviviane – Viviane,  I hold you totally responsible for my new addiction to Etsy!
  4. Who doesn’t love Jewelry? Especially when you are globetrotting the world. Jet Set Candy has become one of my favs. Jet Set Candy allows you to create memories of your travels with beautiful bling.
  5. Don’t forget that Art is important. I’m always inspired by the work of French Artist Nicholle Kobi. Love that here art reflects real life.
  6. And I always leave room for men. They are always part of our equation. Especially when it comes to Managing Your Money and Living A Global Lifestyle. Two subjects I am passionate about. Wealthnoir gets it right, focusing on Millenials and the importance of generational wealth.
